Fear of the Lord
I’ve heard many times we are to fear the Lord. Often it is said that
to fear the Lord means to have a healthy respect for Him. I think
respect and reverence is the bare minimum of what we are to cultivate
in our hearts. In scripture, fear is exactly that. Terror, dread,
trembling are all words that are congruent with "fear of the Lord". I
hope to talk more about this in upcoming posts, but in the meantime, my
goal is to see the fear of the Lord increase in my life more each day.
