Maturity
Okay aside from the over-the-top goofiness Gage exhibits, I have noticed maturity in him lately. Just little things that he gets mainly from his mom. It is rewarding to me as a parent to watch these subtleties in his maturation process. Now, if I can convince him not to wear his wool letter jacket to school on a 100 degree day!
Sanctification
She is God’s gift to me for my sanctification. The main reason God ordains marriage between a man and woman is so that they will embody God’s glory in their union. The way this works practically is that God sanctifies each of them through the daily challenges, trials, and benefits of their marriage. In this way, God uses man and woman as the sanctifying/purifying means of preparing them for the ultimate marital union with Christ.
